You know what sucks about this? GM has been promoting low/zero emission cars since the early 90's. They even came out with a production model which never really caught on. They're trying again with the Chevy Volt. http://www.chevrolet.com/pages/open/default/future/volt.do
Do you think this concept would work in terms of safety?
Do you mean safe in terms of attaching car shell to platform; or if the batteries were to rupture? Either way those guys can always come up with something to safeguard stuff.
Imagining if it were a car you stood on an had the capabilities of an actual car...shit thats scary just thinking about it. Reminds me of that van surfing scene from Teen Wolf.
Safe in terms of crashing into another car that isnt just a shell on a platform.
You know what else this reminds me of? Nightwings interchangeable car shells. I'd like one that absorbs bullets too.
